With 24 years between the club and its last Premier League title, league leaders Liverpool will look to take one more giant leap towards winning the league when the Reds host second-place Chelsea on Sunday morning in this weekend’s marquee matchup.
The Reds have taken the league by storm by winning 11 straight matches, including a clash with third-place Manchester City that gave the Reds control of their own fate. Chelsea, however, enter this weekend with their eyes set upon Atletico Madrid and the Champions league, as Jose Mourinho has stated his intentions of resting his stars for their midweek contest. Regardless, Liverpool have a chance to put themselves eight points clear of their opponents, while a Chelsea victory opens the door for both the Blues and the aforementioned Manchester City, who face a streaking Crystal Palace Sunday.
The La Liga title is also coming down to the wire with Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Barcelona all fighting for the top spot. League leading Atletico will head to the Mestalla to take on Valencia Sunday in what will be a major test of both team’s depth with European match-ups scheduled for midweek for both clubs. Meanwhile, Barcelona will head to seventh-place Villareal, while Real Madrid hosts Osasuna.
In Germany, Bayern Munich will look to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Real Madrid when they take on Werder Bremen. Bayern have recently found themselves in a skid, having lost three of their past six matches since clinching the Bundesliga title earlier than any team in history.
Seria A also boasts a pair of clashes between heavyweight clubs, as AC Milan take on second-place Roma while Napoli head the San Siro to take on Inter.
In other action, Ryan Giggs will take charge for his first game as interim manager for Manchester United when they host Norwich, while Sunderland and Cardiff square off with relegation looming.

YOu should keep this TV post on the first page through Sunday. it usually is buried by Sunday. I expect I’m not to only one who searches for it. it’s very handy.
yes to this
I really wish somebody would broadcast MLS. Ah the good old days when I could catch part of a game on Telefutura every Sunday. But alas…
No nationally televised mls games again?
ya wtf
Can you please add games from One World Sports to the weekly schedule?
Does One World show J. League games? If so, how many do they usually show per weekend?
They do, but not sure how many per weekend, which is why it needs to be on the SBI schedule! They show New York Cosmo games every weekend as well.
Bedoya honestly makes some great runs and gets in on goal so often. If he could could just finish a little more consistently he’d be so good.
Must win for Fulham.
Ditto for Sunderland.
If Sunderland is relegated the market value for Jozy will plummet and as a result I think he’ll have more suitors who can afford whatever his price tag will be.
