Before MLS goes on a two-week hiatus, three matches will be played on Thursday night, while the U.S. Women’s National Team will play their first of two friendlies against a familiar opponent.

Despite positions on opposite ends of the Western Conference table, FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo will meet for the 31st time in the Texas Derby. The Dynamo currently hold a slim advantage, going 12-11-7 in their previous meetings.

Meanwhile, New York City FC will host Real Salt Lake at Yankee Stadium and the LA Galaxy will take on a struggling Sporting KC side.

England and Portugal will continue their build up to Euro 2016 on Thursday, when the two nations meet at Wembley Stadium.

The USWNT will play their first of two matches against Japan as Jill Ellis’ squad prepares for the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
