Jordan Morris won’t be on the field for Thursday’s U.S. Men’s National Team match against Ecuador, but the young forward has made his presence known prior to Thursday’s Copa America quarterfinal.
Morris, who was left off the USMNT’s final roster ahead of the tournament, joined the American Outlaws for the group’s pre-game march to CenturyLink Field. The forward, who has five goals for his hometown Sounders this season, has scored one goal in nine appearances for the USMNT.
Take a look at Morris’ pre-game walk below:

I hope the players that end up suspended(Wood, Bedoya, Jones) to join the outlaws in the supporters section.
Morris joins a tradition of US players mixing with the rest of us. In Oct 2001, we met Donovan in the parking lot after the USA-Jamaica WCQ. After winning the 2002 Gold Cup, Hejduk and Lewis joined the tailgate in the Rose Bowl parking lot. I’m guessing there are lots more of those anecdotes. That connection with the fans is a big reason I love supporting this team.
Just like Frankie Heyduk marching with us in ’06 to the Italy match.
Yeah, I think it’s classy as hell. Not bitter, there with his hometown to cheer em on. Good on him.
Kind of awkward showing up to a party you weren’t invited to.
If you’re all about yourself I guess ? Pretty cool if you ask me, young kid shows up to support his national team in his stadium with the outlaws.
