American international midfielder Danny Williams played a major role in his side’s FA Cup triumph in Saturday. He was in the Huddersfield Town starting eleven for only the third time this year, and he made the most of the opportunity.
Williams scored Huddersfield’s second goal of the match in the 52nd minute, just one minute after Rajiv Van La Parra opened the scoring. It was his first goal of the season in all competitions.

Williams also had an excellent chance off a free kick in the 26th minute.
Bolton would pull one back in the 64th minute, but Huddersfield would hold out and win the day by a 2-1 score to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup
11th start across all competitions by what I can tell 19 appearances
The first goal by Williams for Huddersfield I couldn’t find a video of the goals anywhere, let us know if anyone finds one somewhere. Robinson also started for Bolton.
Not a very good day for Americans in the FA Cup I might have missed someone but I think CCV was the only other American to win. MK Dons won but Arriyibi didn’t dress I think his loan was through the end of the season.
Hyndman went 90 and Bournemouth were able to get a draw. So many he’ll get another start in the replay.
I felt more they were showcasing him for a loan/transfer.
Also Lichaj with probably the match of his career.
Lichaj had a brace in a Nottingham Forest win over Arsenal today
He’s been in the starting XI way more than 3 times..smh
Absolutely.
Actually, only 2nd start of this year, 2018, but he must have nearly a dozen starts this season.
