African Nations Cup: Cameroon cruises, Egypt wins again

After being run off the field by Egypt in its African Nations Cup opener, Cameroon rebounded with a 5-1 thrashing of Zambia on Saturday. Samuel Eto’o scored his 14th career ANC goal, tying the tournament career scoring mark.

Egypt moved a step closer to qualifying for the quarterfinals with a 3-0 handling of Sudan. Mohamed Aboutriaka’s brace pushed the defending champion to within a tie of the quarterfinals.

Sunday features Group D play, with Senegal facing Angola and Tunisia meeting South Africa.

    Can you chime in with your thoughts or anything you have heard about this Martin Liquera the Red Bulls are supposedly interested in. He is 27 year old attacking number 10 from Uruguay. I would like to hear what has come of JCO’s trip to SA this week, and also, is it true training camp started today?
