Here is a closer look at all of Wednesday’s games:

Wednesday’s Champions League Group Games

GROUP A

OUTLOOK– Cluj’s upset of Roma has Chelsea on notice that traveling to Roma and getting all three points won’t be easy. Roma is in trouble, not just in Serie A, but in Champions League. A point at Bordeaux is a must for the Italians.

GROUP B

OUTLOOK– Bremen is in a tough spot. Having settled for a disappointing draw in its opener against Anorthosis, now the German club must get a point or three at the San Siro against an Inter squad that will surely be looking to rebound from its loss to AC Milan. Anorthosis could jump into second place in the group with a win against the Greeks.

GROUP C

OUTLOOK– Barca will be the favorite in the Ukraine and can take control of the group with a win, but Donetsk is an underrated squad. Sporting needs three points to try to pull even with Donetsk.

GROUP D

OUTLOOK– The Group of Death gives us two quality match-ups. Liverpool is in great form and should be able to handle a PSV squad that hasn’t exactly been dominant in the early Dutch season. Atletico has a loaded offense, and will have home cooking. Marseille has looked less than dazzling in recent Ligue 1 matches and just might get blown out.
