If Agger had put away any of those chances he had it would have been a non-issue with the PK.
GOAL CELTIC! Scott McDonald chips the goalkeeper BEAUTIFULLY and Celtic lead 1-0.
cmonn celtic!
Obama!
OBAMA!!!
OH and Obama is the president of the United States. Just thought you would like to know that. Future leader of our country, not that big of a deal.
Regarding the Liverpool match, definitely some of the worst officiating I have seen. Terrible terrible job by the officiating crew; a crew I hope to never see officiate another Champions League match.
Oh, and the earlier non-call on a handball was cancelled out by a non-call vs. Carragher in the second half. Nauseating.
Wow, who among the Scousers bought the ref in that one? First, 4 minutes of phantom injury time and then the…ummmm…..penalty. I realize it didn’t matter that much to Liverpool’s likelihood of advancing but it was still bordering on the criminal. Inexplicable.
Roma!!! Vucigol!!!
For the few of us that still believe Convey is an option at left wing, he scored a goal today in a reserve game and here is a update from the Yanks Abroad site:

Nov 4th YES WE CAN…
enjoy world class soccer on espn 2
Wish the Cypriots could’ve held on.
Not sorry to see Bremen lose.
Didn’t like the way Liverpool won, but didn’t see earlier non-call to compare.
Thank goodness for Slingbox! Got to watch Liv-Atl @ work online 🙂
That should put Gerrard neck and neck with Ronaldo for penalties won on dives over the past couple of seasons.
Goooooo Reds!!!!! Just wished Torres could have played against his former team.
did Gerrard dive again?
I didn’t see the earlier non-penalty, so maybe this was a make-up call. But why would you give a make-up call to someone at the 4:08 mark of 4 min of stoppage time.
And half of Atletico’s team got carded for dissent after the kick…
That was never never never never a penalty, but what else is new, an English giant gets the breaks.
Gerard converts a penalty in the 94th minute.
A soft penalty if a penalty at all. Pernia booked. Aguero booked for dissent.
Wow, what a WEAK penalty call against Atletico in the 93rd minute. Gerrard converts the PK and Liverpool escapes with a draw. Just a weak, weak call.
sporting qualifies for the CL knockout round, first time in club history. I believe that is worth 10-12m euros.
How cool is it that the Cypriots are leading Inter late?
Liverpool ties it 1-1
Liverpool just got a gift of a PK
sporting beating shaktar 1-0. Derlei scored in the 73rd minute.
Liverpool down 1-0 to Atletico. Although an obvious penalty not given to Liverpool. This referee has been pretty bad.
not Champions League but of interest. Beasley not named to Rangers squad today. Edu on bench.
