    1. Thanks Citro. I hate when I forget people. As you can tell I didn’t think before I posted my comment.

Didn’t realize Davies was getting playing time. Why haven’t we seen him in more camps/games for the US? Like what I saw in the Oly and the T&T game.

Actually The Nats backline minus the left flank — Boca, Gooch and Cherundolo — and Charlie Davies are the only yanks getting consistent minutes (Szetela was starting to see the pitch but not sure whether an injury or something else happened…?)

Ives- If you had to give out a first half award (ok first half of european season except Scandanvia and Russia is not over) to the yank having the best season abroad in Euroope, would it be Boca, Gooch, Davies..?

    3. Think Boca is the only American seeing consistent playing time. Believe the last 4 or 5 games Rennes has shout out other teams. Their offensive needs to produce more goals though for them to move up the table.

    4. How’s Bocanegra doing for Rennes? Didn’t he score a goal last month for them. Must be good enough to be in the starting XI and play the full game. Great for him.

    5. Im hoping he can move up to a say Rosenborg of Norway or FC Copenhagen of Denmark or mid table team like Herveereen or Gronigen of Holland. He has the talent.

    6. Charlie Davies bags a brace albeit in a losing cause. Wonder if he will move in the winter transfer to a bigger club in Scandanvia or Holland..? Be good to see him in the nats uniform again too once the Swedish league wraps up.

    7. Fulham quietly putting together a good home record, 13 points in 6 matches. Well done. I’ll trust y’all that Dempsey contributed, none of the match write-ups even mention him. Whatever, he came on and the winning goal happened.

    8. Amoebi equalized for Newcastle, who were controlling the end of the 1st/beginning of the 2nd half, but Newcastle concede a penalty to give Fulham the lead back.

    9. Dempsey subbed in, Dempsey set up Andrew Johnson that resulted in a penalty kick for Fulham in only 2 minutes of playing time! Come on Fulham!

    10. Fulham looking strong and solid in their match. Would really like to see Dempsey get in but Johnson and Zamora both doing well.

Not a great day for yanks getting playing time abroad. Beaz didn’t get in; Edu didn’t dress; Jozy didn’t dress so hopefully Dempsey will make up for it.
