Tim Howard and Marcus Hahnemann spent part of this summer as teammates on the U.S. World Cup teammates. This Saturday, they will be on opposite ends of the field as Premier League rivals when Everton takes on Wolves.

The Everton-Wolves match is one of several tilts on TV featuring U.S. national team players. Clint Dempsey and Fulham take on Manchester United, while U.S. World Cup teammates Jose Torres and Herculez Gomez will lead struggling Pachuca against Monterrey.

This weekend also features the return of the German Bundesliga, with potential U.S. national team midfielder Jermaine Jones and Schalke 04 taking on Hamburg in a battle of title contenders.

  1. bunch of good US action on TV. Looks like there are about 10 or 11 US guys that could be on TV this weekend. I’m quite excited/interested to see holden continue playing in the middle. If he continues to play well, it gives the US many more options than just torres/feilhaber when we need offense.
