Jamaican striker Omar Cummings earned MLS Player of the Week honors on Monday after his two-goal performance in Colorado's 3-0 win against Chivas USA.
Cummings beat San Jose's Geovanni and FC Dallas' Kevin Hartman for the honors after scoring two goals and also setting up Colorado's third goal with a hard blast that forced a loose ball converted by Conor Casey.

The Chivas left back was so slow to react to those cuts that really weren’t that quick. That was high school defending.
