If Sporting Kansas City is to remain unbeaten in the coming weeks, it will have to do so without Aurelien Collin.

Collin has been ruled out for approximately six weeks with a lower back injury. He sustainted the knock in Sporting Kansas City's 4-2 win over over Toronto FC last Saturday. The timeframe of his recovery means he will home matches against Real Salt Lake, the Seattle Sounders and FC Dallas.

Collin has started 15 games so far in his debut MLS season and scored three goals.

Here are more stories from around the league:

FC DALLAS WAIVE STRIKERS

FC Dallas Waived forwards Milton Rodriguez and Peri Marosevic on Thursday.

Marosevic was a first-round draft pick in 2009, but never established himself with Dallas, while Rodriguez impressed as a veteran striker in 2010 but never quite got going in 2011.

WHITECAPS WAIVE PAIR OF DEFENDERS

The Vancouver Whitecaps have waived defenders Mouloud Akloul and Blake Wagner. Alkoul made eight league appearances and two starts in this year's Nutrilite Canadian Championship while Wagner started in all nine of his MLS appearances. Both joined the Whitecaps last year prior to its 2010 USSF D-2 Pro League season.

RSL-VANCOUVER MATCH RESCHEDULED

The Vancouver Whitecaps-Real Salt Lake match originally scheduled for earlier this month has been moved to Thursday, October 6. The match, which was to be played on July 16, was postponed after heavy rains made the temporary grass field installed at Empire Field unplayable. The grass field was installed to accomodate the Whitecaps' friendly against Manchester City.

How do you see Sporting Kansas City coping without Collin? Surprised the Whitecaps waived Akloul and Wagner? Still upset that the RSL-Vancouver match had to be rescheduled?
