When Paul Scholes ultimately decides to hang up his cleats, Manchester United will need to replace their masterful midfielder with someone capable of filling his role.
That someone could be Eden Hazard.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson spent this past Saturday watching Lille suffer a 2-1 loss to Lyon, and he was reportedly scouting the Belgian international ahead of this summer's transfer window. Ferguson is expected to sign a midfielder to his team this summer after failing to acquire one last offseason.
Tottenham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are all also reportedly keen on acquiring the 21-year-old Hazard.
Here are more stories from Tuesday morning:

The match should be a good one as Tim Howard will take on the likes of Luis Suarez and Craig Bellamy.

Think Hazard would be a good replacement for Scholes? Happy that Tevez is on the brinking of returning to first-team soccer with Man City? Worried Adriano's career might be over?

Hazard is special, but he’s more of a replacement for Giggs than Scholes.
Hazard in central midfield… That’s a good one…
Maybe Sir Alex will employ an all winger lineup of Young, Valencia, Nani and Hazard. The lack of finding suitable replacements for the central mid is a bit perplexing. Carrick, Fletcher and Anderson are either not good enough or injured often.
It based on history and your assumed age and gender
Ha, I’ve wondered (and commented) about this before. Every other ad for me makes sense based on history, except for the random ethnicity dating sites. I get all kinds depending on the day: thai, brazilian, mexican, russian, etc etc etc.
And I too never visit or google dating sites. I’m at work for F’s sake!
Too bad about Adriano. So much potential…yet such a waste of talent.
How about Freddy Adu to replace Scholes at Man United?
Good luck to Everton. They’ve only won three times at Anfield in the past 25 years.
That exactly what I was thinking. Plus I think all this talk of replacing Scholes is silly. Cleaverly is clearly the pick and he’s just about fit so seeing what he can do during the the final streach should be fun.
Nein. I never google ‘hot single Filipinas.’
Hazard to replace scholes? Thought he was more of a winger. Can he play an attacking midfield role?

Ives, can you explain to me why both side bars are giving me ads for Asian dating websites?
