Mix Diskerud might be changing addresses, but he won't be leaving Norway after all.
The former U.S. Under-23 men's national team midfielder signed a deal with Norwegian club Rosenborg BK that runs through the end of the year on Thursday. Diskerud joins Rosenborg on a transfer from Stabaek IF, which is in last place in the Eliteserien standings and is in financial trouble.
Diskerud had been training with third-place Rosenborg in recent days, but he opted for a short-term contract to see how he fits at the club before committing to any long-term deal. The 21-year-old central midfielder had spent the first half of the Norwegian season loan with Belgian outfit KAA Gent.
What do you think of Diskerud joining Rosenborg? Expecting him to earn a starting role at the club? Do you see him staying after his deal ends at the end of the year?
