MLS Week 22: Your Running Commentary

A showdown between the season’s top two teams in the Eastern Conference headlines a packed Saturday of MLS action.

Sporting Kansas City have been undefeated since last month’s 2-1 loss to the Montreal Impact, and they will look to extend their six-match unbeaten run with some revenge on the former Eastern Conference leaders. The Impact enter Saturday night’s clash at Stade Saputo in the midst of a five-match winless skid, but they should receive a boost from the return of top striker Marco Di Vaio.

Elsewhere, Supporters Shield leaders Real Salt Lake will try to bounce back from last week’s heartbreaking loss to SKC in their road meeting with the New York Red Bulls. Out West, a shorthanded Los Angeles Galaxy squad head to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park for a matchup against Western Conference foes Colorado.
