Timothy Weah’s start to life in the Scottish Premier League has gotten off to a terrific opening. Now the U.S. Men’s National Team forward will aim to help his side to a third straight win in all competitions.
Weah heads into Saturday’s league clash with Hamilton Academic looking to score a goal in his third consecutive appearance. Despite having to come off the bench in Celtic’s last two victories, Weah has provided a nice boost for Brendan Rodgers’ team who aim to stay atop the league table.
Elsewhere, Andrija Novakovich will look to use Wednesday’s strong outing in the Dutch Cup as he heads into league play. Ethan Horvath will seek a return to winning ways this weekend after falling in league play a week ago. Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund will battle Bobby Wood and Hannover on Saturday. Tyler Adams will aim to make his Bundesliga debut for RB Leipzig while John Brooks and Wolfsburg entertain Bayer Leverkusen.
Duane Holmes and Derby County face a trip to Accrington Stanley in FA Cup play. Cameron Carter-Vickers and Swansea City also entertain lower-league competition while DeAndre Yedlin and Newcastle United take on Watford.

So did I miss the Americans Abroad Weekend Rewind article for this past weekend?
Tyler Adams with the start
Sarcasm on many levels, been following since I was a youth soccer coach in the 80’s .Actually started noticing soccer earlier with Soccer made in Germany on the local PBS channel(1978?) A year wasted and another camp with the wrong players. Still can’t wait for the game.
As I look as this list of players it seems GB will be fielding a “B” team Sunday evening.
If you didn’t realize that until looking at this list you can’t have followed the USMNT very long. There is a reason why the January camp is called “Camp Cup Cake”.
That’s not to say that the January camps aren’t worthwhile. We usually find a diamond in the rough or a depth option each year during this camp to help fill the USSF quota for MLS players on our WC team. Although that may be harder this cycle than previous considering how many young prospects are doing well in Europe right now.
