College Soccer Preview: UConn and Georgetown headline busy day for Top 25

Unbeaten UConn and Unbeaten Georgetown face off today (3pm) in a battle of two of the top teams in the nation, and two teams with Big East title aspirations.

The Hoyas, No.3 in the SBI Top 25, will try to knock the Huskies from the top spot in the rankings. Freshman Brandon Allen leads the way for Georgetown and the New York Red Bulls academy product will look to test a UConn defense that has been one of the best in the nation. Huskies goalkeeper Andre Blake is one of the top pro prospects in America and beating him won't come easy for the Huskies.

The afternoon clash headlines a busy day for the SBI Top 25. The only match-up of ranked teams takes place tonight in Texas, with No. 23 SMU putting their seven-match unbeaten streak on the line against No. 25 Tulsa.

Here is a rundown of today's top college soccer matches (all times Eastern):

Looking forward to the Bradley vs Northwestern game here in Peoria. Hopefully if Bradley wins they can finally get some love in the SBI Rankings.

I know it’s still early but is there anyway you guys could write a piece about the top players in college soccer so far this season?

Apologies if you already wrote this in the past little while and I’ve missed it.
