  1. Lol, yes great save. Shea got toasted to give up the chance, then got exceedingly lucky that the ball was hit right to his leg. What a player!

  2. Best part of this save is the IMMEDIATE reaction Shea makes once he defender beats him. He instantly notices that Ricketts is coming out of the box leaving the goal open and moves to protect the open goal.

  3. Education as a pro doesn’t happen overnight. Yes, Brek’s mistake lead to the chance, but he recovered, put himself in a good position to help continue defending and cleared one off the line. That takes staying mentally engaged. Glad to see he didn’t just switch off and throw in the towel after his man beat him on the dribble.

    • very true, a lot of defenders might have just stood by the post and watched after getting beat.

    • Sean Johnson also claims a “mistake”…they’re both just being nice to each other.

      The reality is that they both got beat, and both recovered to make excellent plays. It happens like that in soccer all the time.

      Brek’s kick save was absolutely ridiculous. Incredible stuff!
