MLS Playoffs: SBI Live Commentary

Follow along with SBI as the MLS All-Stars take on Tottenham in Wednesday night's MLS All-Star Game.

The 2015 MLS Playoffs will see four teams eliminated and four surviving teams continue in in the quest to lift the MLS Cup. All four conference semifinals will be decided in today’s second legs, as a quartet of games will fill out a packed day of action.

The New York Red Bulls kick off proceedings at Red Bull Arena against D.C. United (3 p.m., ESPN). After posting a first-leg victory at RFK Stadium, the Red Bulls can reach the Eastern Conference final with a win or draw today.

The Columbus Crew are at home today (5 p.m., ESPN), but face a tougher challenge after dropping a 2-1 decision against the Montreal Impact in the first leg. Kei Kamara and Ethan Finlay will need to play much better to keep the Crew from being knocked off by the lower-seeded Impact.

Out West, FC Dallas hosts the Seattle Sounders (7:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1), needing to erase the 2-1 first-leg deficit, but stopping Obafemi Martins and Clint Dempsey won’t be easy.

Today’s action will conclude in Vancouver, with the Whitecaps clashing with the Portland Timbers (10 p.m., Fox Sports 1) after the Cascadia rivals finished the first leg without a goal.

  1. Techera’s shot/pass that went over Watson’s head after that stolen ball in the ~ 16th minute. . .

That commentator exchange was golden. Brad was quiet for like 2-3 minutes afterwards.
