The US. men's national team will be taking on Honduras, Haiti and Grenada in group play of the 2009 CONCACAF Gold Cup.
The tournament's groups and schedules were announced on Thursday, with few surprises. Here are the groups:
GROUP A: Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Jamaica
GROUP B: Grenada, Haiti, Honduras, USA
GROUP C: Guadeloupe, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama
The United States will play Grenada in Seattle on July 4th, Honduras in Washington D.C. on July 8th and Haiti in Foxborough on June 11th. If that schedule of destinations sounds familiar, it should.
As you might expect, the tournament is set up with a USA-Mexico final in mind, but given the current state of Mexico's national team (and given the fact that the U.S. team will be a B team), nothing is guaranteed.
What do you think of the U.S. team's draw and schedule? Share your thoughts below (and go to the jump for the complete Gold Cup schedule):

I bet anyone that Nicaragua is going to win against mexico, it may loose against gouadaloupe or against panama but not against mexico
