The Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League kicks off today with a pair of intriguing match-ups and some juicy reunions.

David Beckham will face off against Manchester United for the first time since leaving as AC Milan faces the English champions (2:45pm, Setanta/Fox Sports Affiliates/MSG+). Meanwhile, Karim Benzema will take on former club Lyon in today's other Round of 16 match-up against Real Madrid (2:45pm, FSC/FSE).

Beckham is in the lineup today for Milan, setting up a dream match-up against his former club.

  1. The speed of anybody for that matter…(Donovan, Finley, Cunningham, Tracy…not a fan of Donovan up top but if his speed takes advantage of Ferdinand then I’m all for it. We’ll just have to see how he does in the BPL against him Saturday.)

  2. Man the sight of Ferdinand, god I hope Davies is healthy and ready to go, the england cb’s will have two problems, who can muscle up with Jozy and who can handle the speed of davies, gotta love it.

  3. The original question was probably referring to the Lyon-Madrid match, which is indeed being played in France (without shirt sponsors).
