Fulham snapped its five-game winless streak on Saturday, and Clint Dempsey was the player to lift the club to victory.
Fulham defeated Wigan Athletic, 2-0, through two first-half goals from Dempsey. The U.S. international, who played all 90 minutes in the win, headed home a Carlos Salcido cross in the 30th minute before knocking another in with a one-time finish just before halftime.
The two goals bring Dempsey's total to four in the Premiership campaign.
Fellow American striker Eddie Johnson did not dress for the match.
If you haven't seen the goals, here they are:
What did you think of Dempsey's brace? Impressed more by his first or second goal? Did you have to adjust your eyes as Dempsey and Salcido embraced?

I agree. It shows that CONCACAF is not a joke.
“Best part of Dempsey’s goals was that he went and thanked the distributors instead of other alternative celebrations….”
I agree with that. Team player.
F%&# yeah!
Arizona is not usurping an enumerated Federal power. It’s agents are not prohibited from determining whether someone is in the country illegally.
The constitution doesn’t prohibit agents of the states from enforcing their laws and asking suspected criminals their immigration status. Nor does the constitution permit foreign governments such as Mexico from having veto power over whether US Federal law is enforced
