I also wanted to say that the more I watch French soccer, the more I like it. Where does it stand in comparison to say, Germany, The Netherlands, and England? Its good soccer imo. Lyon and Marseille are the bigs? or no?

My argument to all of you arguing about bias against Barca is:
Nothing is less interesting than a total blowout.
Barca wiped the floor with Man U.
It was like watching a college team play an NFL team. I cannot remember a Man U. team ever looking like an League One team versus an EPL team yet that is exactly how they looked. What is there to be said?
Barca had 70% possession and I wonder if there weren’t some United players who literally did not touch the ball.
For the neutral it became pretty obvious shortly after the second half started that United weren’t going anywhere. In that sense it was a very boring game. Sort of like watching college basketball games end 38-25 before the shot clock came in.
After the last couple of years of Barca and Spain stories I don’t see what any reasonable reporter has left to write about.
The only interesting story is how is it that Carrick is still playing for Man U?

Exaggeration on the whole picture thing. Ives is also just coming back from England as I recall. I also don’t really see a whole ton of articles on New York. last 10 or so are evenly balanced between the MLS teams. Don’t see too much wrong with that. New York also happens to have one of the best DPs ever on their squad so them getting good coverage really wouldn’t be a huge shock. Ives also happens to LIVE in/around New York if I’m not mistaken, so he’d get a lot of scoops from there. That’s also why he’s getting more correspondents from all around the USA.

You know that if United had come out on top, this website would be crawling with stories and people. So biased that they don’t even cover the biggest match in football when the team they want doesn’t win.
No Champions League follow up? No story about Barcelona? No story about the most dominating performance by a team in the past decade?
I’m sure if Manchester United won, there would be 3 follow ups and stories within the hour.
This website doesn’t even attempt to hide its EPL bias anymore. Instead you have a dozen stories about MLS follow ups almost instantly after the game.
Do they always play the coppa Italia right after the Champions league? What if Inter had made it to the final again seems like an odd time to schedule it for.
