So no, it wasn’t a Klinsmann move. Partly I’m sure, because they want continuity of ideas, but Porter was involved with Reyna way before.
I know for a fact Porter was talking with Reyna long before Bradley was fired. Back when Reyna first took over.
I thought he sounded like Bob Bradley as well.
hyperbole is thicker than fiber, this time of the morning.
Do you have any evidence to suggest Klinsmann was not fundamental in bringing aboard Porter and Reyna?
(SBI-Reyna already had his job when Klinsmann took over, and I would ask you if you have any evidence to suggest that Klinsmann WAS fundamental to bringing aboard Porter. I’ve heard plenty of talk suggesting Porter was NOT a Klinsmann pick.)
cuz everyone is afraid of being ridiculed if they give credit to Gulati haha
What makes you think Klinsmann controls the hiring of the U-23 coach? Or are we just attributing everything to Klinsmann now (eg every German American who plays for the US even if they were already going to do so)?
I like this guy, his Akron results, and his soccer ideas. One of best moves Klinsmann has made.
politics…
Well said T.So then why did US Soccer fire a lot of it’s best youth national coaches?
I like whatever I’ve seen of this guy. I’m excited about where the USMNT program is headed under Herr Klinsmann.
Ugly spill by the goalie there, at the end. Sean Johnson, I think… Good thing it’s practice.
Alot of success on the pitch comes from good coaching, U.S. Soccer needs to continue having good coaches in its programs at “all” levels.
Sounds like Bob Bradley……but with Bob’s voice sped up x5.
I like him. Players really respond well to him.
Love this guy. So impressive. He’s as exciting as prospect for US Soccer as the players.
