Soccer Sunday: Your Running Commentary

Juventus has enjoyed a season for the ages, completing an unbeaten Serie A campaign to win their 27th Scudetto (or 30th if you ask Juve fans), but they have a chance to complete pure perfection today by winning the Coppa Italia final against Napoli.

The match, which will be Alessandro Del Piero's last match for the club he has spent two decades with, can give the Italian champions the Double and give the Italian national team a boost heading toward Euros, with the Juventus contingent making up a large part of the Italian squad.

There is silveware on the line across the globe, including Mexico, where Herculez Gomez and Santos Laguna will look to finish off Monterrey in the second leg of their Mexican Clausura Final in Torreon. Santos earned a vital 1-1 draw in the first leg in Monterrey, but a late equalizing penalty kept Santos from scoring the road upset. The 'Guerreros' can earn some revenge for their CONCACAF Champions League Final loss to Monterrey by winning in a stadium where they haven't lost in months.

In France, surprising Montpellier can clinch the Ligue 1 title with a win or draw against Auxerre, or with a Paris St. Germain loss or tie vs. Lorient. PSG will need to win and haveMontpellier to lose to clinch the title.
