Euro 2016 qualifying dominates the global soccer schedule again today, with two groups far from decided with just two matches to go.

Groups E and G are completely up in the air as the countries go into the final round of matches this international break.

In Group E, second-place Switzerland looks likely to defeat minnows San Marino at home in order to secure a spot in the tournament. Elsewhere, Slovenia hosts Lithuania as the two sides battle for a chance to advance to the playoff round as third in the group. Estonia will face a tough task in facing first-place England away in order to keep its hopes alive.

Russia, Sweden, and Montenegro are the three sides in Group G that are fighting to join Austria in advancing to the tournament finals. Only three points separate those sides, as Russia travels to Moldova, Montenegro hosts Austria, and Sweden faces Liechtenstein on the road.

Elsewhere on Friday, NCAA Men and Women are both in action, a single match takes place in Liga MX, and World Cup qualifying for Africa continues.

Enjoy the action (today’s soccer on TV schedule after the jump):

Comments

    • If I understand the new rules correctly, Ukraine is definitely in the playoffs. Schedule is not kind to them because they have to play Spain last, though it is in Kiev and Spain has already qualified. But they still could qualify directly if Spain is sufficiently disinterested:)
