Soccer Friday: Your Running Commentary

Third place in the German Bundesliga is up for grabs on Friday.

Hertha Berlin hosts Schalke 04 at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Europe’s headliner, and a win for either side will see it climb into the third and final automatic UEFA Champions League qualification spot. If Schalke finished the season in fourth, where it currently sits on the table, it would have to go through the playoff round of the UCL in order to qualify for the group stage of the 2016-17 competition.

While the two German clubs will be battling it out in Berlin, Juventus hosts Sassuolo at the Juventus Stadium and Málaga takes on Sporting Gijón.

Across the Atlantic, Orlando City SC-Chicago Fire and Santos Laguna-Pachuca offer soccer fans plenty to watch in the evening.
