Thursday’s UEFA Europa League action is sure to satisfy your craving following Champions League action on Tuesday and Wednesday.
All 16 teams kick off the round, with Liverpool-Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund-Tottenham headlining action in the tournament.
The Reds have fallen to the Red Devils in both of their meetings during the English Premier League season, most recently losing, 1-0, at home on Jan. 17. However, Jurgen Klopp’s men have not lost in regulation in their previous four games, which includes an impressive 3-1 win vs. Manchester City.
While Tottenham’s form has taken a dip recently, the Spurs are still one of the EPL’s best teams this year. Yet, Mauricio Pochettino’s men are in for a tough challenge against a Dortmund side that has been playing good soccer since the start of the new year.

2nd best team in EPL gets crushed by the 2nd best team in BL. I guess Spurs figure they are gonna make the Champions League so they don’t need the Europa
I hate the attitude most English clubs take regarding the Europa League. It might be a second-rate competition to the CL, buts its still a trophy. BvB are also guaranteed CL, are in a league title race as much as Tottenham are, as well as still being in their domestic cup.
Eh, you’re comparing apples to oranges in my opinion. Spurs being this close to an EPL title is nearly a once in a lifetime opportunity. BVB aren’t close to catching Bayern after just managing a draw at home against them. Also, Spurs could theoretically fall out of the top 3 or 4 if they don’t take the league seriously, while BVB has the number 2 spot locked up in Bundesliga.
CCV made the bench for Spurs. Pulisic not in the 18, as he looks to be mostly in the youth side barring an injury.
