The Bundesliga once again provides some interesting matchups of Americans abroad, but U.S. Men’s National Team fans will have eyes fixed on England this weekend.
After making his return as a substitute last weekend, Geoff Cameron looks to rejoin the Stoke City XI for Saturday’s clash with Brad Guzan’s Middlesbrough. A start would be Cameron’s first since returning from a knee injury that kept him sidelined since fall of last year. Meanwhile, in Championship action, DeAndre Yedlin and Newcastle United look to hold on to the top spot, and the Premier League promotion that comes with it, in a clash with David Wagner and Huddersfield Town.
In Germany, a USMNT forward meets a USMNT defender head on as Bobby Wood’s Hamburg faces off with John Brooks and Hertha Berlin. Aron Johannsson and Terrence Boyd could also face off on the field, while Christian Pulisic and Borussia Dortmund face a test against Bayer Leverkusen.
Elsewhere, Emerson Hyndman looks to build on his midweek game-winning goal in Scottish Cup action while Omar Gonzalez and Pachuca face the contingent of Americans at Tijuana to headline the Liga MX schedule.
