Professional athletes are asked to take pictured with fans all the time, but very rarely is that picture taken by a World Cup winner.
Former Chicago Fire defender and current assistant coach Eric Gehrig took to Twitter on Thursday night to reveal a hilarious airport interaction with a fan. While en route to Toronto for this weekend’s clash with Toronto FC, a woman stopped the Fire and asked for a photo, with none other than Bastian Schweinsteiger behind the camera.
