Adams delivered a strong 90 minutes from his midfield position, earning SBI’s Man of the Match honors. The Leeds United midfielder raced around the field tirelessly in the USMNT’s 1-1 draw with Wales, helping the Americans earn one point in their first World Cup match in eight years.

The USMNT held on for one point against Robert Page’s squad, setting up an intriguing showdown with England on Friday.

Adams edged Christian Pulisic, Tim Weah, and Tim Ream for SBI USMNT Man of the Match honors.

  1. He was good. I think Aaronson should have started in place of McKennie. Clearly he really couldn’t get forward with his thigh problem.
