John Brooks and Pellegrino Matarazzo joined Hoffenheim at midseason and are in the midst of a spiral, with Hoffenheim suffering seven straight losses to plummet into last place in the German Bundesliga. That position could change with a win against Hertha Berlin, which is sitting just two points ahead of Hoffenheim in the standings.
