Tyler Adams named Bournemouth’s Player of Month for February

Tyler Adams’ impressive return to the AFC Bournemouth squad earned him an individual honor.

Adams was named Bournemouth’s Player of the Month for February, the club announced Friday. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder helped Bournemouth to a 2-3-0 record that month across all competitions.

Adams featured in five matches for the Cherries in February, starting in four of those appearances. He started against Liverpool, Everton, Southampton, and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 26-year-old has made 20 appearances in Andoni Iraola’s squad this season in all competitions.

He has continued to be a consistent performer for Bournemouth this season, helping the Cherries to a current seventh place spot in the English Premier League and a berth into the FA Cup quarterfinals.

Bournemouth next travels to Tottenham on Sunday before hosting Brentford and Manchester City (FA Cup) to close March’s schedule.

  1. EPL mid table is stacked with Bournemouth being just four point from the fourth spot. Regardless, super happy for Adams being healthy and making a difference!
