Fourth faces fifth this weekend in the Women’s Super League as Arsenal takes on Tottenham in a North London derby.
Emily Fox and her Gunners teammates will seek to end the weekend in the top-three of the league table. Fox is coming off a goalscoring performance midweek as Arsenal lost 3-2 at Bayern Munich in UEFA Women’s Champions League action. The U.S. women’s national team defender scored her first goal of the season, but it wasn’t enough as the Gunners suffered their second defeat of the competition this fall.
Arsenal and Tottenham are both level on 15 points apiece heading into Sunday’s showdown at the BetWright Stadium. After back-to-back results without a win in multiple competitions, pressure will be on Arsenal to get the full three points on the road.
Elsewhere in England, Jonathan Tomkinson and Cheltenham Town visit Tranmere Rovers in League Two action. Aidan Dausch and Forest Green Rovers take on Gateshead in National League play.
