We are eight months away until the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and close to half of the qualified spots have been claimed.
A total of 30 of the 48 spots for next summer’s tournament have been determined, with another 18 still up for grabs over the next few months. The U.S. men’s national team, Canada, and Mexico automatically earned spots as hosts for the competition while 45 other nations competed through World Cup Qualifying in order to join them.
From defending tournament holders Argentina to first-time participants Jordan and Uzbekistan, there will be no shortage of talent at the World Cup next summer.
