AFC Bournemouth is stuck on one of its worst runs of form of the English Premier League season and Monday’s trip to Manchester United won’t be any easier of a test for Andoni Iraola’s men.
Tyler Adams and the Cherries face off with the Red Devils on Monday night at Old Trafford, closing out the weekend’s slate. Adams has remained a constant starter for Bournemouth this season, logging two goals and one assist in 15 appearances.
The U.S. men’s national team midfielder has stayed healthy and fit for Bournemouth, which has boded well for his availability. However, despite Adams’ best efforts, the Cherries sit in the bottom half of the league table and are without a victory in their last seven matches.
After taking four points out of six from Manchester United last season, Bournemouth will be confident ahead of its trip to the Theater of Dreams. Adams logged 89 minutes in last season’s 3-0 road win in Manchester and remains a good option to start once again this time around.
Elsewhere in England, Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United travel to Brentford. Haji Wright and Coventry City face off with Bristol City. Chris Richards and Crystal Palace welcome Manchester City to Selhurst Park.
