The English FA Cup fifth round matchups are set.
Brenden Aaronson and Antonee Robinson learned their opponents for March’s fifth round after the draw was completed on Monday. Both Aaronson and Robinson advanced to the fifth round following weekend results with their respective clubs this past weekend.
Aaronson played 52 minutes off of the bench in Leeds United’s 4-2 penalty shootout victory over Birmingham City on Sunday. The U.S. men’s national team midfielder successfully converted his spot kick in the shootout while also delivering a lively performance in the second half and extra time.
Daniel Farke’s men will next host EFL Championship side Norwich City, seeking a spot into the quarterfinals.
As for Robinson, he played the full 90 minutes in Fulham’s 2-1 comeback victory over second-tier hosts Stoke City. It marked the USMNT left back’s first 90-minute shift for the Cottagers since December 17 in all competitions.
Fulham will host Southampton in the fifth round.
