Folarin Balogun’s stellar month of February earned him a major club honor.
AS Monaco named Balogun its Player of the Month for February, the Ligue 1 side announced Wednesday. Balogun helped the club earn three league victories and one draw in seven matches over the past month.
The U.S. men’s national team forward started in six of Monaco’s seven matches, scoring four goals. He found the back of the net in wins over Lens and Angers while also scoring twice against Paris Saint-Germain in UEFA Champions League play.
Balogun took his season tally up to 12 goals in all competitions. His 2025-26 haul is the same amount to his total production over his first two campaigns with Monaco.
Despite suffering UCL elimination, Monaco sit seventh in Ligue 1 and remain in the fight for a top-three finish this season.
Up next for Balogun and his Monaco teammates is a trip to PSG on Friday. The club will also face Stade Brest and Lyon during March’s schedule.
Balogun will hope that his improved 2026 production leads to a USMNT call-up this month for home friendlies against Belgium and Portugal in Atlanta.
