
NASL clubs continue to fill out their rosters, as the New York Cosmos and Tampa Bay Rowdies headline the recent batch of signings with a pair of MLS veterans.
Gabriel Farfán has joined the Cosmos on a season-long loan from Liga MX side Chiapas. Formerly of Chivas USA and the Philadelphia Union, Farfan has made 14 appearances for the Mexican club since joining in 2014. (REPORT)
The Rowdies have signed Eric Avila on a one-year contract with a club option for the 2017 season. A nine-year MLS veteran, Avila most recently featured for Orlando City following stints with FC Dallas, Toronto FC and Chivas USA. (REPORT)
Puerto Rico FC announced on Friday that Puerto Rico National Team member Jorge Rivera and NASL veteran Paulo Mendes have been signed as the club’s third and fourth players. Mendes joins his twin brother, Pedro, who signed for the club alongside midfielder Joseph “Jackie” Marrero in mid-February. (REPORT)
Rayo OKC signed El Salvador midfielder Richard Menjivar. The 25-year-old has earned caps for the El Salvador national team while featuring for the Atlanta Silverbacks, San Antonio Scorpions and Tamp Bay Rowdies. (REPORT)
Following several reports, Rayo OKC has also confirmed the signing of U.S. Men’s National Team veteran Robbie Findley. (REPORT)
The Fort Lauderdale Strikers have revealed their schedule for the club’s preseason tour of China, which will include four friendly games in a two-week span. Headlining the slate of games is a matchup with Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng, which is managed by former Brazil national team boss Mano Menezes. (REPORT)
