Christian Pulisic’s impactful role at AC Milan is reportedly going to earn him a new contract.
Pulisic is set to receive a contract extension through the 2027-28 Serie A season, Relevo reported Monday. AC Milan would also hold a club option to extend the U.S. men’s national team star’s deal by an additional season, according to the report.
Pulisic would receive a pay raise as part of his new contract, earning roughly €4-5 million net salary per year.
The 26-year-old joined the Rossoneri from English Premier League side Chelsea in the Summer of 2023 and since has been a major hit in Italy. Pulisic has totaled 23 goals and added 17 assists in 70 combined appearances for AC Milan, earning Player of the Month honors once already this season.
Alongside USMNT teammate Yunus Musah, Pulisic has gotten back to his best in Milan, working under two different managers in two seasons.
His eight goals and five assists this season currently lead AC Milan in both categories. However, the USMNT star is sidelined for the remainder of 2024 due to a calf injury.
AC Milan has two final matches on its schedule this year, a trip to Hellas Verona on Friday and a home match vs. AS Roma on December 29.
Well anytime someone wants to give you a raise, you’re doing something right. Happy for him, he’s earned it. Also think it’s a good move for him to stay in Italy, he seems much more comfortable than he was in England. Now his team needs to start winning games and turn around the season or they won’t have CL next year.
