julio seriously, at leasf try to be less transparent with your stupid bias against the mexican teams.
it’d be nice if some of you guys didn’t turn fhis into a US vs Mexico thing because in reality it’s far from that.

Yeah, Justin, the crowd looks much better than the first couple of camera angles in pregame, and I jumped the gun. My b.
What an entertaining half of football. Fast paced, tons of action, a little chippy…this is exactly what the SuperLiga was designed for. Will not having Guzan come to haunt Chivas?
Is it just me, or is that Nurse guy have NO pace whatsoever?
Yeah, Justin, on third look they look much better than the first couple camera angles of pregame.
What the FU@# kind of call was that! Garbage yellow. Yeah he came from behind but he clearly made contact with the ball first.
agreed Ricardo
Curtin does not look good right now. He seems a few steps off the pace of the game. If the Santos attack was finishing this game would already be over.
I really think that Bornstein and Mendoza should switch on the left side. Panchito looks far more comfortable taking guys on from the outside and Bornstein is better in back. Just think that the old combo was more effective.
The Mexican teams are just way ahead of MLS teams in their technical ability. The only MLS team IMO that comes close is Houston, who plays a precise, entertaining style. I’m not a Mexican “fan”, but am objective about things. Even their keepers are coming up huge in this tournament and that’s supposed to be our strong suit. That guy Calero (?) for Pachuca is a beast.
si si si si si si…
*clang*
nooooooooooooooo…
horrible miss by santos laguna, haha
Jacob – I don’t get it. That’s a good crowd.
And welcome to a packed Home Dep-oh, wait, uhhh, yeah, there’s apparently a soccer game here tonight.
Good defending from the Revs throughout the game. Pachuca was pressured all over the field and the Revs won lots of 50/50 balls.
Dude there is a rarely such a thing as a non lucky pk. Because half of the kicks could be saved if the goalie picked the right way. Very few actually sink it right into the corner.
Notice that Calero was about 6 yards off his line when Khano struck…
And that’s a win for the ‘Mercans!
Even if it was a weak penalty, justice was served. The Revs first goal was incorrectly called offside.
Khano was lucky Calero picked the other side – that shot was definitely saveable.
GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!
THAT’S HOW THE CRAP YOU TAKE A PENALTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOLGOLGOL!
Gotcha – had me (and the Spanish announcers) fooled with the hair!
WOW!!!!! HANDBALL IN THE BOX IN THE 94th-ish MINUTE!!!!! PK REVS!!!!
Kano Smith to take it…
bad call
PENALTY!
Larentowitz did not play due to injury.
I’m watching on Telefutura but I could have sworn that was Larentowitz.
Thanks. All my thoughts to him. That looks scary
Scary scary moment.
Phelan. Nyassi and his head collided trying to clear a cross.
That looks really bad. Not even a thumbs up
It looked like Big Red was talking and moving his feet so hopefully this is just precautionary.
I just turned it on – who is hurt?
Grenada, not Bermuda. I knew that. And yeah, like I said, just slipped through the cracks. No real bad blame.
I agree with you on most Mexican teams, but in the last several tourneys Pachuca’s shown a lot of class and respect for American teams. Not too many other teams are willing to exchange jerseys and admit an honest defeat when they lose to an MLS side.
Joseph is cap tied to Grenada, the nation where he was born, not Bermuda (that is Khano Smith’s country). In fairness to the USSF, Joseph was cap tied to Grenada before he was even a Revolution starter. No one realized, until it was too late, that Joseph was that good.
These Mexican get happy because for the last 50 or whatever years they dominated the CONCACAFF. Well look what happens when you wake up the Americans and keep acting like arrogant S.O.B they start kicking your @ss and you can’t dominate the CONCACAFF anymore, it’s why these punks are not going to the Olympics. I think I hate the Mexican teams more than the NY Yankees.
Johnny, he had the chance to play for the US, as he moved here when he was 14, but the USSF kind of let it slip through the cracks and he ended up cap tied a few years back for Bermuda.
Can these guys have more corny names…LA CHILINDRINA…I mean BRO what the hell is that?!!?!??!
I really can’t stand MExican teams…they are so arrogant. Kind of like all Mexican National Team players. When the hell did they win the World Cup that they walk around with this Arrogance!?!! God I hate those F**$ers.
Wow – both keepers are making huge saves.
I wish that Sharlie Joseph was from the USA so that he could play in out midfield.
HE IS AWESOME! Can’t we just naturalize this guy like the rest of the world does with Brazilians or is he already cap tied with the soccer powerhouse Grenada?
Good first half for the Revs, especially considering all of the players out of this game due to injury (Twellman, Cristman, Castro, Ralston, Larentowicz, and Albright). Joseph was superb, lots of tackles in the open field and great outlet passes to create scoring chances). Phelan also played his best half this season so far. I would like to see Dube and Mansally, when they receive the ball with their back to the goal at the top of the box, turn and try to beat a defender rather than being so quick to play a back pass to a midfielder.
Coming out of halftime, Calero comes out 2 minutes late, and then jogs a third of the way down the field towards the wrong goal until his teammates finally get his attention.
Good work from Mansally to Dube gets the quick shot that requires a good reaction save from Calero.
I don’t watch them. I start a countdown on my phone for 14 minutes, close the window, and pay no attention to it during halftime.
I would really appreciate it if someone could explain to me what the point of the “I am Swedish, I am Irish, I am whatever…” public service announcement?
Revs look a little better in the first half. Some pretty decent long range shots gave Calero a problem or two. 0-0 at the half.
