He's normally known for setting up teammates with beautiful passes, but AC Milan midfielder Andrea Pirlo did the scoring on Saturday, delivering an amazing 40-yard goal (the game winner in a 1-0 win vs. Parma) that had to be the goal of the day.

NOT at all. Alex’s shot was always in the range of the goalmouth…Roberto Carlos goal literally leaves the mouth of the goal and comes back. Alex’s shot really is just power..even if it didn’t curve it would have gone in
I’m choking on a chicken bone right now. can’t breathe at all. does that make you feel better?
On Saturday, a solitary goal from Andrea Pirlo, with a shot from over 30 meters, had given the victory to Milan in the area of Parma, with the whole ‘Rossoneri’ accumulated eleven points and are fourth, two points leadership. http://tinyurl.com/2wscahc
yawn
Any coach will tell you to pressure the player with the ball in that situation. Nobody challenged him at all.
You’re a punk, Wally. I hope you choke on a chicken bone.
Absolutely amazing.
Right WM, the defense basically gifted pirlo the goal. any schmuck would put that away
That goalkeeper has to be pissed that none of the defenders in the area picked him up. You can’t let someone have that much room to tee up and take a shot…
This kind of reminds me of his goal against Ghana in the World Cup back in 2006. It was the first match and the first goal of the tournament for the Italians. It swerved back and forth through countless bodies and found the corner. The dude has got a foot on him.
BadWolf says ——This maybe better????

-hahahaha love them long distance goals
The swerve of Alex’s shot conjured up images of Roberto Carlos’ famous free kick against France in ’97.
Amazing… serious flutter to that goal
Today is a day of unbelievable, out of this world goals.
Wow…Hell of a shot.
So was Alex’s for Chelsea today (although for fantasy league purposes, I wish he had missed).
