  1. Rumor that Rooney is leaving United?

If this is true I guarantee Spurs show interest and Rooney just laughs at them.

    Probably BS though

  2. It was off a set play after a foul. Bradley and Jones didn’t work well together, contrary to BB’s post game comments. Maybe it’s just do to chemistry and time, but no doubt Jones reads, plays and understands the game better. Not to take anything away from MB, but Jones ruled the MF.

  3. Flown with them 4x from Germany (Baden-Baden) to England (north of London) and to Ireland and Italy. No issues, but recommend pre-boarding option at $5.00 extra cost.

  4. Shameful officiating AGAIN.

Tevez steps on the Blackpool player’s achilles, takes the ball and shoots to score. How does he get away with this crap soooo often.

  5. Easy Jet is as low cost as I go! I actually prefer British Airways on the short haul European flights. However many folks I know like Ryanair okay (mainly for the cheap prices). Kaiser, how has your experience been with them?

And Tevez was definitely offside on that first goal. The refereeing has been horrendous in the EPL today. Everton’s second goal should also have been disallowed as on Arteta’s shot there was an attacker actively offside in the goalie’s line of vision.

  6. Blackpool are the real deal.

That being said, they need to find a real target striker because DJ Campbell is not going to help you missing all of those easy chances.

  7. Dear Ives,
For short European flights try Easy Jet (www.easyjet.com). I fly them everywhere and they are like Southwest. Just an FYI: the speedy boarding is worth it. In addition, http://www.kayak.co.uk works, too.

See you in Rome at Stadio Olimpico. I’ll be there in November……

  8. Another odd thing. If I go to the home URL, it doesn’t show this entry at all. I got here through the twitter link but it appears to not be on the home page. Strange morning.

  9. I recommend to ESPN to show

2 PL games every saturday and 2 La Liga matches every Sunday. surely it’s doable. Perhaps costly but the ratings will come.

so many have to watch online streams. why can’t they help a brother out?

  10. This is the earliest I’ve ever seen the “Running Commentary” post. Good morning!

Interesting though, the date stamp says 8:00AM. Ives, are you in Brazil or the Azores or some such?

(SBI-I set the commentary to post at 8am on Sunday, but for some reason it posted it retroactive to 8am on Saturday, which is why it wound up buried and only a few folks could actually find it. That’s what I get for posting at 4am.)
