  1. Great comment if it is meant to be sarcastic about the sometimes uneducated overreactions fans often have(and this isn’t meant to be any attack on certain MNT supporters, fans are like this in every sport for every team).

  2. you also don’t see MB play in the champions league.. oops?

maybe because he’s not talented enough to be on a top tier team….

  3. England-Did not play

    Slovenia-Subbed on at half

    Algeria-64 minutes

    Ghana-89 minutes (counting E.T.)

198 minutes out of 370-50.7%. That’s pretty significant.

  4. Poor phrasing from the op aside, edu’s club performances have surely earned him a look in the spot next to jones.

Pointing to bradley’s past success in the cm isn’t good enough anymore now that jones is available, and edu and holden are both having solid seasons for clubs that are probably better than mogadanblech.

Don’t think of me as bítching about bradley either. I think it’s great that we have this much talent in our pool. And if holden/edu don’t perform in cm for the nats, we could do a lot worse than MB.

  6. That’s funny because I remember him starting both of our recent games (albeit one at CB). I’m willing to bet if he had played like this he would have stayed on the field against Colombia.

  7. I love Micheal Bradley more than most but it is really hard to start him when Edu and Jones are getting such important minutes in the highest echelon of soccer and both are playing so well lately.

  9. O/T but if any of you guys participate in the Q&A later, be sure to ask Ives of his thoughts on top5 American strikers in MLS right now and any chance they get a call up for the NT in time for the Gold Cup?

ALSO ask why doesn’t the GOLD CUP get bigger press or promotion in the USA or Canada or Mexico?

  10. I’m watching the Barca game but I feel for the Danes. If Barca wins it won’t be by much. Danish teams are always suprising the bigger times in the CL.
