MLS Golden Boot winner Chris Wondolowski earned yet another accolade for his late-season heroics, named MLS Player of the Month for his sensational October performance.
The 27-year-old carried the Earthquakes offense in the last month of the regular season, accounting for every goal the team scored in the month of October. That included four goals over the last two games that pushed Wondolowski past Edson Buddle in the race for the Golden Boot.
Wondolowski will look to bring his scorching form into the playoffs, as San Jose is set to host the New York Red Bulls this weekend out in California.
What do you think of Wondolowski adding another award? Can he keep it up against New York?
