  1. The game has picked up a little bit now since the Galaxy goal. But, Rain + QWEST Field does not equal very attractive or entertaining soccer.

  2. Listen to the FSC guy not knowing anything about the offside rule.

Olave was keeping him onside? Um no. There was only one player back that’s why it was called offside. Olave could have been 30 yards in front of the Saprissa player and it wouldn’t have mattered.

  3. Rule for offside TWO players must be in between the attacking player receiving a pass and the goal when the pass is initiated. Only one player in between, learn the rules.

  4. Oh yeah? You think you know the rules?

If you did you would know that two players must be behind the ball in order for the player to be onside. The Keeper was not in front of the ball and thus the player was offside.

But nice try with your condescending attitude, you must feel like a real jack*ss.

  5. Harkes is the worst…the absolute worst. I want to rip my ears off. He just doesn’t shut up! And you notice how he lists the players number before he says their name! Who the hell does that? No one that’s who. And another thing…I’ve never listened to a guy who see’s the exact opposite from the replay…not live, the replay!!

Sorry but this guy drives me nuts.

  6. Take a second look when they show it again, it looks like offsides was the correct call. Even though Olave looked like he had kept the player onside, Rimando had moved up when he missed the cross so there were not two players behind the player making it offside when the ball was played in to the Saprissa player.

  7. Maybe it’s just me, and I’m a Galaxy fan, but is this Seattle-Galaxy game kinda boring to anyone else? Kinda ugly. Poor passing. Is it the field?

  8. Can someone confirm (please God, let it not be true) if MLS will be using the Jabulani abomination as their official ball for the 2011 season. The ball at the Sounder/Galaxy game looks like a Jabulani…why are they punishing the players? Jabulani is the worst ball known to mankind…really, really awful!

  9. Ahh T-Rex Twellman and his swan song for Kasey Keller. What the hell did he mean saying he hopes he leaves on a swan song?
