MLS teams grab advantage in Canadian championship semifinals

After the first legs of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship semifinals, it's looking like an all-MLS final is on the docket.

Toronto FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps each scored road victories Wednesday night to take the advantage heading into next week's return leg of the semifinals.

Maicon Santos scored twice, and Alan Gordon added another as the Reds took advantage of an early FC Edmonton red card to put the NASL side in a 3-0 hole in their semifinal.

The Whitecaps didn't have it as easy, but Terry Dunfield's goal in the 67th minute lifted Vancouver to a 1-0 victory over NASL's Montreal Impact.

Do you see either Edmonton or Montreal making a comeback? Think it's finally Vancouver's year? Or do you see TFC taking the title again?
