The United States opens its Gold Cup run in a few hours against North American foe Canada, as the two meet for the first time since a controversial matchup in the 2007 Gold Cup semifinals.
The tournament is of great importance not only to the national team, but also to its fans, who have been waiting patiently since last summer's World Cup for the USMNT to play in meaningful games with something on the line.
While the game will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel and Telefutura at 8 p.m., you may opt to watch the match elsewhere.
Are you going to the game? Planning on watching it at a soccer bar in your city? Feel like inviting SBI readers over to your house for the match?
Where will you be watching USA vs. Canada?

You live in Pasadena? I have been looking for members of the SBI Mafia that reside in the San Gabriel Valley!
I’m in Pittsburgh, PA (Piper’s Pub) right now, but I’m moving to Pasadena soon. I would love to contribute to your beer selection in later stages of the tournament.
I will be watching it on Concacaf tv. Sadly, I don’t have digital cable 🙁 Damn it, being a poor college student. Anyways, you can watch any of the games if you really want. Change your ip in your internet browser to one in the country that is allowed to watch all games. I believe that will work if you want to watch more than the U.S. game.
http://www.concacaftv.premiumtv.co.uk looks like it will have the feed live & on replay!
I watched a couple WC games at Cheers on Augusta St. There were a lot of local CESA teams there and it was all a lot of fun.
Nice
I used to do that too because they were the only oneswith the game, but theycut out satellite because it was too distracting to the employees and wasn’t enough of a draw.

Hey guys, has anyone watched a game streaming from the Telefutura website? How is the quality?
Thanks!
Go USA! I am nervous for tonight but I think the 4-0 loss hopefully fired the boys up.
I predict Dempsey and Bradley having a great tourney. After seeing them in practice last week and during the 2nd half of Spain, they look sharp. MB is focused on impressing to earn that EPL contract!
Believe it!
Hope they have Fox Soccer Channel for you to watch, they quit subscribing when I was there for US v Paraguay. Call ahead or try the place where Brian McBride was doing a meet and greet on Broadway, they had FSC in HD.
Any good place in Las Vegas NV to cheer for the US?
I’m new to Olympia, WA, so it will be my apartment this time. I’ll come up with a good place to watch Mexico and Costa Rica in the final though.
(Reverse jinx planted. On to phase 2.)

In my tiny dorm room on my laptop. 🙁
In the comfort of my own home, fridge full of beer, and wife and kid out of the house so no one can hear me yell my head off for 90+ minutes.
I hope so.
I was a regular at the Globe 2 years ago. I have been to Lucky Bar as well. I definitely prefer The Globe.
I will be watching this on my new 46″ LED Samsung from the comforts of my apartment.
Manchester Pub – NYC. Owner is an AO member and great place to watch the games.
