The United States opens its Gold Cup run in a few hours against North American foe Canada, as the two meet for the first time since a controversial matchup in the 2007 Gold Cup semifinals.

The tournament is of great importance not only to the national team, but also to its fans, who have been waiting patiently since last summer's World Cup for the USMNT to play in meaningful games with something on the line.

While the game will be televised on Fox Soccer Channel and Telefutura at 8 p.m., you may opt to watch the match elsewhere.

Are you going to the game? Planning on watching it at a soccer bar in your city? Feel like inviting SBI readers over to your house for the match?

  4. I will be watching it on Concacaf tv. Sadly, I don’t have digital cable 🙁 Damn it, being a poor college student. Anyways, you can watch any of the games if you really want. Change your ip in your internet browser to one in the country that is allowed to watch all games. I believe that will work if you want to watch more than the U.S. game.

  7. Hey guys, has anyone watched a game streaming from the Telefutura website? How is the quality?

    Thanks!

Go USA! I am nervous for tonight but I think the 4-0 loss hopefully fired the boys up.

I predict Dempsey and Bradley having a great tourney. After seeing them in practice last week and during the 2nd half of Spain, they look sharp. MB is focused on impressing to earn that EPL contract!

  8. Hope they have Fox Soccer Channel for you to watch, they quit subscribing when I was there for US v Paraguay. Call ahead or try the place where Brian McBride was doing a meet and greet on Broadway, they had FSC in HD.
