The SBI Show: Episode 154 (Talking USMNT, MLS, Eddie Johnson’s Twitter beefs, and more)

Sorin Stoica, Eddie Johnson

The World Cup ended just three weeks ago, but it’s already time to start thinking about the U.S. Men’s National Team returning to action.

In Episode 154 of The SBI Show, we discuss the U.S. team’s rumored friendly with Colombia in September, and the team’s return to action.

Co-host Garrett Cleverly and I also discuss all the moves taking place in MLS, as well as Eddie Johnson’s recent Twitter spat with Brian Ching (among others).

  1. BTW – Brian Ching pegged Eddie Johnson,…it is obvious. He plays until he gets paid and then dogs it. Pity,…because he is talented and if he had the work ethic to go with it, he would be at a different level.

  2. Great show, fellas. I’m actually happy that Scarfgate continues. I’ve started to identify with this thankless crusader character I’ve built up in my head. When this saga is all over, and obviously made into a summer blockbuster, I’m not sure what I’ll do with myself. At least I’ll have a very nice, signed scarf to cry into, not to mention the worldwide fame that comes with having a popular movie made based on your heroism. I failed to cast Garrett in the comments of last show, but it’s not because I forgot about him, I just thought it would be a little obtuse to state something so obvious. However, for posterity, Stanley Tucci has already signed on to play the G-Man.
