  1. Its not even about the goal, it more about the athleticism, the timing, the ability as a player to even TRY some thing like that, between two defenders….wow

  2. As perfect as any I have seen. Last year England were all agog over a Rooney bicycle that wasn’t any better and of course Marcello Balboa had another one that will live for the ages. This one was the equal of those and any others you can name, IMO. I think it was 2 seasons ago that Agudelo had another equally as impressive. He was running full speed and the pass came in from behind him and yet he managed to kick the ball from behind and loop it into the net. Given the absolute brilliance he is capable of at times, it’s a wonder he doesn’t score more often and more regularly. For example, while he was in Holland he really didn’t do much at all and was on the bench more than he was on the field, as I recall.

  3. I know NE has quite a few options at Forward, but he only starts 2/3 of the time. Its a great goal, maybe goal of the year, but one goal doesn’t make you a national team player. I could see it going either way, being out of the playoffs could give him a better chance as MLS will lobby not to take players still in the playoffs especially on the away match to Trinidad. Of course one could argue he couldn’t carry his team past DC United. And since you mentioned Jozy he scores about once every 2 games in MLS and Juan scores once every 4.

  4. I hope Klinsmann was watching and btw watch tonights game to see if Jozy can do anything even close. Who am I kidding, the only way Jozy could get his fat arse that far oo the ground iw on a ladder. Juan needs to be in every camp…. he’s young and sklilled. There is no reason to shun him

  5. Absolute wonder strike by Juanito! Reminiscent of the stuff Hugo Sanchez used to pull off routinely for UNAM Pumas and then in the la Liga, when Emilio Butragenyo served up crosses for him at Real Madrid. The stuff of legend, to be sure.
