Following a midweek slate of first round games, the MLS Playoffs continue Sunday with the start of the conference semifinal round.
After advancing past the New England Revolution, D.C. United’s playoff run continues with a rivalry clash against the Supporters’ Shield-winning the New York Red Bulls (3 p.m., ESPN). In the West, the Portland Timbers look to build on a rollercoaster shootout victory in a home matchup against the Vancouver Whitecaps (5 p.m., ESPN).
Eastern action continues with a clash between Didier Drogba’s Montreal Impact against Ethan Finlay, Kei Kamara and the Columbus Crew (7 p.m., Fox Sports 1), while the Seattle Sounders host FC Dallas in Sunday’s finale (9:30 p.m., Fox Sports 1).
